Monsieur Merveilleux

“The father of a daughter is nothing but a high-class hostage.

“A father turns a stony face to his sons, berates them, shakes his antlers, paws the ground, snorts, and runs them off into the underbrush.

“But when his daughter puts her arm over his shoulder and says, ‘Daddy, I need to ask you something,’ he is a pat of butter in a hot frying pan.”

— Garrison Keillor

Thank you for always being our sweet softy, Dad. It couldn’t have been easy to have so many delightfully conniving daughters! – But you made it through those tough years with each of us, and you were such an excellent example of living life and loving it too!

Happy Father’s Day, Papa d’Amour! I love you way too much! xxx

P.S. Thank you also for all those shiner prizes at Timmy’s…heh heh. Shhh…don’t tell Mum. 😛

(Sorry this post is so late! 😦 Really did try my best!)
